This site was initially set up as a home for my travel memories from an incredible adventure in Chile, Argentina and Peru. But having finally turned the original blog posts into a book with the help of the amazing Pixxibook.com, and having just been billed for another year of website fees (I forgot to turn off the auto-renew option) it’s occurred to me that I can actually continue to use the site to capture another, more drawn-out adventure – that of tackling all 282 of Scotland’s Munros (or as many as I can manage; I’m still not entirely sure I’ll manage them all).
Having completed 101 at time of writing, and already starting to look back in amazement at some of the photos I’ve captured along the way, I’ve decided it’s better late than never in starting to put together a new series of blog posts that can then be magically transformed into print, and that I can then look back on in years to come.
I have a fair bit of catching up to do in terms of collating photos and memories from the earlier Munros – and I may yet decide it’s a ridiculous waste of time to try to do so – but let’s see how I get on. I’m spending a lot of time on trains at the moment, travelling back and forth between the Lake District and London for work, so if nothing else it’ll give me something to do on the journeys!
